El estado Trujillo fue representado por el Director Artístico del Ateneo de Valera, profesor Simón Rojas, exponente del arte del silencio que logró arrancar cientos de aplausos al público asistentes con sus obras “Juegos” y “Cazador de Mariposas”.
Según nuestro entrevistado durante el evento, una exposición fotográfica llamó la atención de distintos artistas plásticos y otros representantes de las artes escénicas que llegaron al lobby del auditorio “Ambrosio Oropeza” de la Universidad Centrooccidental Lisandro Alvarado (UCLA) para apreciar la muestra compuesta por 80 imágenes del máximo exponente del arte del silencio: Marcel Marceau, “En la entrada cada persona recibía una calurosa bienvenida de parte de una pareja de zancos que llevaban sus caras maquilladas como unos mimos sólo que de gran tamaño.”, apuntó.
